We all have a tin of spaghetti or beans in our cupboard. Why not spice it up a little?
Spaghetti Mini Pies

Servings: 12
Ingredients
- 12 slices Sandwich Bread
- 50 grams Butter Melted
- 300 grams Tin Spaghetti
- 1 cup Cheese Grated
- 3 rashes Bacon Optional
Instructions
- Trim the crusts from the bread and brush one side of each slice with a little melted butter.
- Push the bread slices, buttered side down into 12 muffin tins.
- Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes until crispy.
- Fill the cases evenly with a spoonful of spaghetti. Top each with equal quantities of grated cheese and chopped bacon if using.
- Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes until the cheese has melted, the bacon is crispy and filling hot
Baked Bean Scrolls
Servings: 12
Ingredients
- 2 Spring Onions Finely Chopped
- 2 slices Salami Diced
- 1 tin Baked Beans
- 1/3 cup Cheese Grated
- 2 cup Flour
- 30 grams Butter Softened
- 1 cup Milk Extra Milk for Glazing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200C
- Combine the spring onion, salami, baked beans and cheese. Mix well, then set aside.
- Sift the flour into a large bowl. Rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.
- Make a well in the center and pour in the milk. Mix slowly from the center to form a soft dough.
- Turn onto a lightly floured board and knead the dough until smooth. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a rectangle shape,about 20cm x 30cm.
- Spoon over the bean mixture. Form a long side,roll up in a scroll to firmly enclose the bean mixture.
- Cut the dough into 12 scrolls about 1/2cm thick.Place on a lined oven tray. Brush with extra milk
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden.
Spaghetti Omlette
Ingredients
- 1 tin Spaghetti
- 3 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Milk
- Seasoning of your preference
Instructions
- Put spaghetti in bowl, eggs and stir. Add the milk and continue to stir - you are looking for a consistency that will set well when cooked, so not too runny.
- Add seasoning
- Pour into heated pan. cook until set, sprinkle with cheese and put under gill to melt/brown.
Sausage and Baked Bean Casserole
Ingredients
- 5 Sausages
- 2 cups Peas and Corn Frozen
- 1 tin Baked Beans
- 3 Potatoes Large
- 2 packets Instant Noodles
- 1 cup Cheese Grated
Instructions
- Cook sausages in pan then chop
- Boil peas and corn
- Cook potatoes in a separate pot and mash with milk and butter.
- Cook instant noodles
- Mix together chopped sausages, noodles,peas,corn and baked beans and pour into a large, lightly greased baking dish.
- Spread the mashed potatoes over the top, and sprinkle with cheese.
- Cook on 180 degrees for approximately 25 minutes
