A Natural Deodorant That Actually Works, Smells Delish And Is Eco-Friendly – Count Us In!

Hands up if you’ve used a natural deodorant before?

I’ve always been a little sceptical as to whether they work or not but after taking Naturale out for a test run, I can officially report that their deodorant (which smells so good I could eat it) actually works.

Free from chemicals, with no aluminium and no nasties, Naturale is packed in an eco-friendly cardboard container that is 100% recyclable.

If you love reading labels, there are only 10 ingredients that make up the deodorant.

• Theobroma Cocoa (Cocoa Butter)
• Cera Alba (Beeswax)
• Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)
• Isoamyl Laurate
• Coco Caprylate
• Talc
• Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime Essential Oil)
• Citrus Limon (Lemon Essential Oil)
• Glyceral Caprylate
• Silica (Pharma-grade).

My thoughts

I’m one of those people who doesn’t like to be able to smell my deodorant so while testing out the Naturale product, I was really happy to find that I couldn’t detect it on myself.

How to use it

Since the product is made with beeswax, it doesn’t roll on like your normal deodorant and so the first time I used it I may have overdone it a little but trust me, it’s on there.

1. Push the deodorant up from the bottom of the cardboard container 5mm to expose
2. Apply lightly to clean dry underarms

So, where was I wearing it?

• During the work day
• A couple of after work catch-ups
• A sweaty walk up One Tree Hill

Now I work in an office where there isn’t much of a chance to work up a sweat but still, I was really happy to find that I could pop it on at 6am and by time I get home after 5pm, I’m still feeling as fresh as I was when I started out my day.

I had a couple of events and catch ups with girlfriends after work during the week so took my Naturale in my bag in case I needed a touch up – thankfully, I didn’t!

The real test came over the weekend when I went for a way too early walk up One Tree Hill with a girlfriend. Now I’m far from fit so that walk kills me every time and definitely makes me sweaty so naturally, this is where my scepticism kicks in. Well, this little deodorant thoroughly surprised me by holding up and not letting the sweat break through.

I have to say, I’m really impressed with this product and would give it all the stars. Initially sceptical, I have officially been converted to the Naturale deodorant. Providing enough protection throughout the day and helping to keep me feeling fresh as I worked up a sweat, Naturale really does exactly what it says while delivering a citrus scent that smells so good you’ll want to taste it.
