Three Fun and Flirty Makeup Looks

It’s a new year, a new decade! Take the leap and have the confidence to wear something new! Why not experiment with different textures as well. A bold matte lip, a glittery eye or a coloured eyeliner? I’ve got your covered with ways you can incorporate these flirty makeup looks into your every day routine.

Glittery eyeshadow

Newsflash – glitter isn’t just for little kids. It is the best way to feel fabulous all day. It’s the perfect option for both day and night. Begi your eye makeup with a natural beige eyeshadow. Using a smaller eyeshadow brush than normal, apply the beige eyeshadow all over your eye. Then take a glitter pigment (you can usually pick up travel sizes of these for cheap. MAC do a mini glitter for $10), spritz your brush with a setting spray and gently press over top of your beige eyeshadow. Never rub glitter on as it will just create a huge mess and the glitter will fall out. Once you have covered the area of your eyelid, coat your lashes with black mascara and fill in your brows and voila!

Bold Matte Lips

Matte lipstick is the perfect option for the warmer months. It is sweatproof in the heat and will withstand copious amounts of sneezing caused by hayfever. Opt for fun colours like a classic red or a bright and beautiful coral/orange to add some playfull-ness to your look. These fun and flirty colours will uplift your mood to match and anyone else you may encounter. Most importantly, a good matte lipstick is kiss proof! Much to the relief of boys across the universe 🙂

Coloured Eyeliner

As you have probably already picked up from the article so far, colour is key. An easy way to spice up your makeup is to opt for a coloured eyeliner. These are readily available and come in a whole range of colours. If you want super fun and flirty then you can opt for a neon colour or if you want to ease into it then I suggest starting with a blue or lavender purple and working your way through the colours as your confidence grows.
