Gooey choc-chip cookies

Makes 10 – 14 cookies

Ingredients:

  • 125g butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 3/4 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk or white chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C.
  2. Pour butter into a large bowl and stir in both sugars until smooth and sugar is mostly dissolved.
  3. Lightly beat the egg with a whisk or fork and stir into the sugar mixture along with the vanilla.
  4. Sift flours and baking powder together into a small bowl and then gradually mix into sugar mixture until combined. Stir through chocolate chips.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of the cookie mixture onto lined baking trays.
  6. Bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until golden then remove from oven and allow to cool.

    Choc chip cookies are our fav recipe (me and my 4 year old daughter), so easy and I make the cookie dough and roll it into a log, use some then freeze the rest!

    Oh my!!! These look DIVINE!!! I would love to say that Im going to make them for my kids but let’s be honest… I dont think that they would last that long….

    Ohhh I like the idea of having 1/2 cup of white and 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
