Cameras are rolling on Warner Bros. Pictures Wonder Woman 1984 and we are so friggin’ excited!
Director Patty Jenkins is bringing the fire alongside Gal Gadot once again in the sequel to the Super Hero blockbuster that shattered expectations and showed the world what they’d apparently forgotten; that women are badass bosses in all areas of life.
Not much has been released about the film yet but what we do know is that the next adventure, set in the 80’s, finds Wonder Woman going head-to-head with a new enemy: The Cheetah. Kristen Wiig has been confirmed to play the role of the Super-Villain and Chris Pine (yaaaaaaaaas) is set to return as Steve Trevor.
With 80’s fashion set to make a bold comeback in this film, we can’t wait to sit down with a massive bucket of popcorn and have our mind-blown by the epic adventure we know Jenkins has in store.
Production will take place in Washington, D.C., Alexandria, Virginia, and in the UK, Spain and the Canary Islands.
Set to open in theaters October 31, 2019 in New Zealand, “Wonder Woman 1984” is based on the character created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment. It will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
