Top Beauty Tips for Summer

Taking care of your exterior is super important. Especially in summer! Our skin and hair can dry out, we can get sunburnt and we can make irreversible damage if we are not careful. Here are some top tips for a beauty routine this summer.

  1. SUNSCREEN

Everyone and their mother will scream this in your face. Please wear sunscreen. It is the most important thing to wear every day, whether it is summer or winter. The sun is extremely damaging and you only get one change to protect your skin from irreversible change. So, be smart about it.

  1. Protective Hair Mask

There is no surprise when I say that the sun is damaging towards your hair. Plus, it can increase oil production on your scalp. Shampooing your hair is not always the best idea. So, using a protective hair mask once a week will combat most damage that may occur to your locks.

  1. SPF Lip balm

Your lips are still made of skin. So, you better protect those babies with some SPF lip balm. No one likes having cracked lips in summer. Another big part of staying away from cracked lips is making sure you are drinking plenty of water. You can tell when someone is dehydrated is their lips are dry.

  1. Cleanser

If you were never into skincare. Summer is the best time to start. We sweat a lot on our face, so this builds up dirt and grime on your skin. Do some research about your skin type, and test some out! Keep that face clean and refreshed.

  1. Eat Your Fruit and Veg

What you put into your body will show on your skin. Fruits and vegetables contain all the good stuff that our body needs. Not only will your skin thank you, but so will every other organ!
