I loved this review (and apologise for how long it took me to write up!). I received some lovely emails that indicated I would be sent the Azure Palm Tankini in a 36G and the Azure Palm Full Brief in a AU 18/US 14. So a little background – I am over 40 and do not usually wear revealing bright swimwear so this was a real experiment. I love my black rash vests and board shorts for the beach and when I swim in a pool I wear a one piece with longer legs. I was thrilled to be selected and enjoyed that the package arrived as indicated in the tracking and was well wrapped and actually had a beautiful plastic seal-able bag which was a lovely extra treat in a matching print. Surprised they shipped from Hong Kong though.

The first test is the sizing! The tankini – so I was sent the 36G and it made me a little nervous as I am usually a 38F in UK sizing so this was a good test. I was well impressed as I put on the top and thought it was a bit tight and revealing but husband, sister and niece all said it fitted fine the first time I wore it. I think I would probably go up a size for comfort and coverage and I have actually ordered a larger fit but I think that is personal taste not the sizing guide which was accurate. I am aware I have a very long back and I expected “back gap” but actually it was fine. I think this was helped by the full brief though. If I was going for a lower cut bottom I would go up a size in the top – but that is my taste again. I could not believe how brilliantly the bottoms fitted and how perfect they were – a real hit. They fitted exactly the way I would have wanted and I have ordered a black top so I can wear them more. I didn’t feel I was falling out of the top while moving but there was just a bit too much skin for me so I think a halter might have worked better. I found over time I got more confident and I will keep at it.

Colour and style these were very vivid and lots of fun to wear. I got lots of compliments over the holidays but I would say they are not for “proper swimming” but more lounging about near water and paddling with friends at pools for me but that is personal taste issue. I will be definitely getting some coordinates so I can get more value out of the combinations and variations. Watch out for the low cut top but it is not revealing it is just a bit low for those of us with size 18 big boobs who get nervous – nothing popped though 🙂 I think I would have liked a wrap or a sarong to complete the outfit. Totally ordering more though!

Thank you for choosing me as a product reviewer!! As a mum of 2, I never get to treat myself these days and the budget seems to always be tight!!

I received the Sorbet Palm Balconette 1 piece. I first noticed the lovely swim bag it came in – something you don’t think about when buying togs but so very handy to have when you are at the pool and stuck with soaking togs after a swim. I love the colour of the Sorbet Palm design.

When I signed up for the trial I had asked for 12E and got sent the 12F, however when I tried it on, the fact that the cup size was 1 size up didn’t matter – it fitted well around the bust. I like that it didn’t feel like it was hiding/squishing my chest but for once I did not feel like I am about to ‘pop out’ as I do with most swimwear usually! I did notice it was a little bit loose around the bottom – whilst I am busty, I don’t have an ample bottom. So the fabric bunched up a bit around the seams there. Other than it, it fitted well.

I wore it to the pool in the weekend with the kids and it stayed on well – again so very important for a busty individual. The bit of bunching around my bottom seems to have resolved itself after a swim and wear – not that it was much of a problem to start with! I did have a look at the other swimwear at the pools and I could not see any other swimwear that provided the support the Lilly & Lime swimwear provides.

Between the lovely patterns and the quality of the swimwear, I would certainly recommend this product to my friends and family – especially the ones who are busty too!

I’m 16 years old and these bikinis are amazing! They’re true to the photos the colours are super vibrant and fun! Being younger and having a larger chest makes it hard to find nice and fun patterns that suit my size and these are the best I’ve found! I’m a 12E and one thing I would recommend is getting your top one size larger in the band and one size larger in the cup. They’re comfortable and hold up the girls perfectly! The range and styles Lily and Lime have is a range I’ve never seen before which is so cool! I’ve looked at the website and it’s super easy to use and they’re easy to work with as well. I would definitely recommend Lily and Lime to all my friends because the balconette top and side tie bottoms are my new favourite swim set! Thankyou HerWorld!

  4. Sophia Ivory December 18, 2017 at 7:48 pm

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Amazing quality and totally amazing for girls with a higher bust! I got the balconette top and side tie bottoms! I love them both! One thing I would suggest is to go to one size bigger in the band and one size bigger in the cup. Overall super impressed! 5/5 would recommend

It was really great to be chosen as a reviewer for the Lily and Lime swimwear.
I received the underwire halter bikini top and the full bikini brief.
I too was surprised to see the bikini shipped direct from Hong Kong.
The little zipped bag that the bikini came in will be great to use as a wet bag in the swimming togs bag.
The hygiene sticker on the bikini bottoms was very hard to remove and left little sticky bits behind.
I love the fit of the halter top – it fits my figure well and I was able to confidently wear it to the beach with a 4 year old clambering on me in the water and had no fear or worries that it would fail on me.
The bikini bottoms fit me well however I found the waistband is slightly bigger than the bottoms themselves and it does roll down on me – especially at the beach – I ‘m not sure I would want to be wearing them in big waves – they might not stay put! – But I do love the cut and fit of the rest of the pants.
I found when rinsing the togs after swimming the cup padding rolled on itself ( an issue I have had with other togs with cup padding) – but its a pain having to re position the cup liner after every rinse.
I would recommend the bikini to others – I have a D cup so not a massive bust – but big enough. For me I would size down in the bikini bottoms to my usual size. The bikini seems to be well made and the fabric has a decent weight so hopefully it should last and wear well over time.

I really love my lilly and lime bikini it makes me feel incredible and I’m a Mama to a 3 year old with a definite Mum tum! I got the high waisted sunset and it’s so good at hiding my least fav part of my body. Is true to size and love the colours.

  7. Anna Stone December 14, 2017 at 10:28 pm

I wear about size 18 and I have never felt I had the figure for a bikini! and I am swimsuit shy so I was looking for a one piece swimsuit. I liked the look of the Balconette one-piece but when I did my measurements as recommended and received a feedback email my size was different than what I thought! It was larger! The Balconette wasn’t for my size and it was suggested the Full Cup bikini top with Brenda mesh one piece over or Full Cup or Underwire Halter with High Waisted Briefs. So keeping with the cover my tummy theme I went for what I think of as the glamorous Brenda one which is black and got a matching black Full Cup Bikini top. They arrived in an attractive, useful, tropical print plastic swim bag (one end of zip end though is detaching from bag). I was surprised to see the address on the parcel said it came from Hong Kong.
I love the feeling of support I get from the Full Cup bra. Just like wearing a really supportive bra. I found adjusting the straps a bit stiff but ?will loosen in time. There is white stitching on top of the inner end of the underwire which I think would be better as black. The simple plastic black back clip seems easy and hope will remain secure over time. The swimsuit is lightweight and stretchy with lined bottom area. The see through mesh over tummy gives a distraction from having a bare midriff! There is a large keyhole shape at the back under the mesh band which covers the back waist strap of your bikini top. I like the look and placement of the mesh band.
My teenage daughters think the mesh style is a pretty cool style and would like for themselves! But for me it is a bit of a weightloss incentive. I feel I need a sarong or swimshorts to hide my thighs and I can see a roll of skin at the large open back. I feel it would look better on a firmer figure which may now give me an incentive to attain! Overall definitely a striking looking swimsuit, Interesting to see how the mesh reacts over time to frequent swimming. Thank you for the chance to trial 🙂

I love love LOVE my new swimwear (I received the Sunset Shell Balconette One-Piece). I have a wee boy who has just turned one and haven’t been comfortable wearing togs in public for over ten years, so have been absolutely dreading taking him to swimming lessons because I am extremely self-conscious about my post-baby body. But these togs are so great – they fit properly with great support and you don’t feel like you need to wear a tshirt over top! I love the pattern and the fabric – much better than the super thin cheap stuff used by a lot of women’s clothing brands. The cut-out at the back is cool too – shows a little bit of skin so it’s not mumsy but also not too revealing for family pool time. I also needed to change my size and the team at Lilly and Lime were so nice and helpful. My boy has just started swimming lessons and I finally have the confidence to get into the pool! I will definitely be buying another pair of these and have been telling everyone I can to try them. An absolute godsend.

  9. Nicole December 13, 2017 at 6:10 pm

What an awesome trial opportunity – thank you very much Kidspot, Her World and Lilly & Lime.
I received a Bandeau bikini top and High Waisted Brief bikini bottom in the colour ‘Sunshine’.
The colour is exactly as pictured – a bright summery yellow and so far after a couple of washed hasn’t faded. I was a bit unsure about the High Waisted brief style, however they are reasonably flattering for someone like me with a bit of a flabby tummy and they cover the baby-induced stretchmarks beautifully. I can wear this bikini in public without feeling self conscious about that part! The Bandeau top is reasonably supportive and not too skimpy that I feel like I’m going to expose myself. I have even been sprinting after my very fast 19 month old who had a head start on me and felt quite supported, so a big tick there.
As for comfort, I have worn this bikini under clothes several times now – just incase I decided to swim, and I have forgotten that I’m wearing swimwear every time – it feels as comfortable as underwear.
The band around the top of the bikini bottom is quite firm and although not uncomfortable does leave a bit of a line on my skin after I take them off – this could well be me having too much flab though!
Really the only negative I can think of so far is that when it arrived, the hygiene sticker on the bottoms was stuck so tight it was difficult to get off and left sticky residue on it that was hard to wash off. Also the cups are not very smooth – the sewing lines can be seen, however after I’ve worn them for a little while they look a lot better.
So overall I would certainly recommend these to anyone, especially those who are a little curvier (I am a D with a bit of a tummy roll) and who feel like taking the plunge after babies have changed their body shape a bit. The colour is lovely (not a colour I usually wear!) and the style quite flattering and well as very comfortable for swimwear.
Oh and the zip up wet bag they came in is a nice touch too!

  10. Keryn Young December 7, 2017 at 10:40 pm

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to try this bikini, I’ve had two kids (6 and 4yrs) and have now been going to the gym for a year and am pretty happy with my body so I was stoked when it arrived in the post. The colour/pattern is absolutely gorgeous, I received my pick which was the Azure Palm, and I loved that it arrived in a cute little wet bag. This was a great touch! On trying on the full cup top unfortunately it does not fit my body well, the cups are spaced too far apart so the under wire pokes into my boobs and is trying to push them out wider than they can go. I readjusted a bit trying to get it to sit right but it made it look worse with boob getting squished together by the under wire. The size was perfect though, I am a 10D and it fitted everywhere else, cup size and length around my back. Also the top ribbing on the cup was a bit tight and squished my boobs a bit too, rather than giving a nice lift effect. I love the bottoms I received the ones with the tie sides and these were really cute a bit cheeky, normally I would have a bit more coverage of my butt, but they fit well and could be tightened easily with the side ties.
I tried the bikini on again to give it another go while the kids were playing outside under the sprinkler and found that after about an hour the under wire in the centre of both cups was hurting and leaving red marks where it was poking into my boobs again. It would be interesting to know if the distance between cups varies with the sizes, because these are way too far apart for my small frame.
All in all the bikini felt of good quality and well constructed. I really liked the style, size, fabric quality, pattern, strap width, and clasp it was just the fit of the top that really didn’t work on my body.

I always struggle to get my mind around getting back into a bikini, but these styles look flattering and supportive, so would love to give them a trial please!

I would like to change my first choice after getting back today their email about size and style recommendations for me. I’ll follow their advice about the Full Cup bikini top in black 40F and the Mesh one-piece to go over it in size 20-22.

  13. Anna Stone November 18, 2017 at 3:24 pm

Wow what a fantastic treat trial!
I’m a shy! swimsuit wearer as my body is not as slim as I would like!!
My favourite is the Balconette one-piece in Sorbet Palm.
My second favourite is the Azure Palm Tankini.to go with the Full Brief Bikini Bottom in Azure Palm or the High-waist bikini bottom in Azure Palm.
I did my measurements and sent away and am awaiting a reply. I think I’m 40DD top and 18 brief.

I would love toto try some of the gorgeous Lilly & Lime Swimwear and I love their gorgeous range. I have only owned one pair of togs since having my first 4 years ago (was the first one piece I ever bought, I am usually a bikini girl) and it is safe to say, after second it does not fit me at all haha. But both my girls love swimming and I would love to be able to feel confident in the water with them, in a proper fitting swimsuit.

I found it really hard to choose a favourite print as they are all gorgeous. My two favourite top styles were Balconette & Underwire Halter in the Azure Palm print.
My two favourite bottom styles were Full Brief & Hipster Tie in Sorbet Palm print.
I did the size check and was told I am a 38E or 38DD in the halter. I am also a 12 in bottoms.

After doing the check, I realised none of my favourite styles/prints are available in my top size. So I would honestly love to just try anything in my size 🙂

    Thank you for this opportunity.
    My 2 top preferences are
    – Royal Blue Balconnette

    • Gabriella Monaghan November 17, 2017 at 9:20 pm

Whoops, ignore the last two lines (I was going to go through and choose two I liked in my size but then decided to leave it up to you guys, and forgot to delete that part).

It’s also supposed to say after my first child and then second child 🙂

      Thanks

The tops I like are the Stripe Balconette and the Chevron underwire halter.(I have sent my size check away so will wait for that to come back before i add my size!).
My favourite 2 bottoms are the royal blue high waisted and the coral cut out brief – size 14

So hard to pick just 2 of each!

  29. Amber Mcmahon November 15, 2017 at 7:53 pm

Would love to trial your swim wear. So refreshing to see a brand that suits fuller figures or busts, and has a great range of colours and styles to suit all body types. It is also amazing to see real woman modelling your swimwear, who we all can relate to like mothers who have breastfeed and struggle to find a flattering fit.

    Nectarine Full brief 14

    Choice2- Coral balconette 38D
    Coral high waisted 14

i would really appreciate being considered for this trial – ive always had big boobs on my small frame – now ive had 7 kids and have breast fed them all i have no perkiness left my youngest is now 2 (yes i am crazy having 7 LOL) i always found it hard to buy bras in my size 32FF so cupsized swimwear has always been a no no – so always feel embarrassment: when i go swimming and i end up wearing my bra underneath my very unflattering one piece !
1* Ash underwire halter in Azure palm OR Sam full cup in Royal Blue
2* Ella full brief in Azure palm or Sloane high waist in Royal blue
3* size 32FF in the top and size 12 for the bottoms please 🙂

  34. Donna Taylor November 15, 2017 at 4:20 pm

I would love to be chosen to test this, I have never ever found a swimsuit that works with big boobs! I was so excited to see the email about the Lilly and Lime range all of it is just stunning and made for big boobs, I am sure Xmas has come early this year. My kids love to swim and I would love to be happy and feel confident in the pool and not worry about boobs coming out 🙂

So hard to choose favourites but I would have to say for the tops
    1. The Azure Palm Balconette such a beautiful print in the Large
    2. The tankini top in either pattern love both the black and the Azure – size 38E
    and the bottoms
    1. The high waisted brief in Azure or black 🙂 in a 14 – (looks like such a flattering cut)
    2. The cutout brief in Azure or black in a 14

I cant stop looking at the website, super easy to use and just stunning swimwear options

  35. Sydney Garner November 15, 2017 at 3:36 pm

As a larger breasted woman finding togs that support as well as look feminine has been a mission. How wonderful it would be to feel comfortable to jump in the pool with my children rather than watching them with my partner from the sidelines.

    * High Waisted Bikini in Sorbet Palm, or Full Brief in Azure Palm
    * 18DD and size 16 bottom

    • Kirsty Bell November 15, 2017 at 12:37 pm

Sorry I forgot to add 2 choices for each…..didn’t want to be greedy!
I also love the Balconette One piece in Azure Palm and the Black Full Brief

  42. Lesley McLeod November 15, 2017 at 11:59 am

    azure balconette size 16D

I’d be happy with any pattern or style as long as they are 16D, 14/16 bottom and allow me to feed baby.

  48. Rachel Musso November 15, 2017 at 7:32 am

I would absolutely love the opportunity to be part of this trial! I am large chested and I find it so hard to find cute swimwear that fits well, gives me support and doesn’t make me look obscene when I am at the beach or pools with the kids.

So many gorgeous styles and prints!

My favorite tops styles would have to be the balconette or the full cup

For bottoms my favorites are the hipster tie bikini bottom and cut out bikini bottom

I love the Azure Palm print and the Nectarine colour is my other favorite.

    Top size – 10d
    Bottoms size – 10

Finger crossed I get to be one of the lucky ladies trialing this beautiful swimwear!

  49. Vikki Sainsbury November 15, 2017 at 7:00 am

Wow these are gorgeous! Never heard or seen this brand but loving it!! 🙂 I actually don’t even own a bathing suit or bikini so this would be totally awesome, I really need to take my nearly 5 year old to the pool/beach and need something I can feel comfortable and sexy in, even with all my curves!

    1) Underwire halter in Chevron
Mesh One Piece – size M or L
    2) High Waist Bikini bottom in black
Full brief bikini bottom in Chevron (or black)
    3) Size 14 bottoms and 14DD tops

Thanks so much for the opportunity!! 🙂

  50. Sarah Hendy November 15, 2017 at 7:00 am

  51. Jenna Litchfield November 15, 2017 at 6:21 am

Ooo i love these, if im not picked i want to buy! I went up to a 12h whilst breastfeeding and it was not comfortable one bit

Sunset Shell Underwire Halter And cut out brief! Or in the stripe as well. 12 F top and 12 bottoms!

I literally am wearing a string bikini with a tankini over top as i cant find anything that fits and i also just broke my bikini bottoms that were string as well. Oh my life

  52. nicola bond November 15, 2017 at 6:01 am

I went from a 34C to a 36H while I was pregnant! Then I’ve shrunk back down to 34F and have no swimwear for this summer as my bikini’s are far too big in the cup. I have a special needs daughter and can’t afford to buy swimwear as I need to pay for her medical therapy, so would be thrilled to be selected! I would also be nice to feel pretty for a change instead of chronically sleep exhausted and funftionally / practically dressed 🙂

Two of your favourite bikini top/one-piece styles and the print you love: Stripe Full Cup, Royal Blue Full Cup
Two of your favourite bikini bottoms and the print you love: Royal Blue High Waist or Full Brief
Complete the size check and let us know measurements based on the size chart criteria: sz 16 bottom and 34F top

  53. Philippa Cadwallader November 15, 2017 at 2:37 am

  54. Emily Lawrence November 15, 2017 at 12:54 am

What an absolutely beautiful range of swimwear. I personally haven’t been swimming in years and a huge part of that is not having a nice pair of swimwear to cover me in the correct places. These togs look like they would boost my swimwear confidence and have me wanting to go swimming more often. Thanks for the opportunity her world 🙂

I’d love to trial some swimwear – I never buy it because as a full time student and sole parent funds are super tight and I have some body image issues that mean I really struggle to shop for beachwear – I am literally wearing some shorts and a t shirt.

    1) Black high waisted brief – size 20 teamed with a chevron under wire halter size 22DD

    2) Sorbet Palm high waisted brief – size 20 teamed with a royal blue under wire halter size 22DD
