If you’re meeting up with the girls this weekend, ditch the boozy brunch and head to The Cav in Ponsonby to taste test their latest Johnnie Walker creations – responsibly of course. Famed for first dates, footy fanboys and all manner of thirst-quenchers, Ponsonby’s favourite gastro pub The Cav has nailed some exquisite decks-terity with a fancy new indoor outdoor area fitting of its local notoriety.
Celebrating their new deck and renovation, the crew have teamed up with Johnnie Walker and are serving some limited-edition Highball cocktails in five flavours:
- Elderflower
- Green Tea
- Peach Tea
- Lemon
- Ginger
Mix your own Johnnie Walker Elderflower Highball
- In a highball glass add ice
- Add 50ml Johnnie Walker Black Label or Red Label
- Add 50ml Six Barrel Soda Co. Elderflower Syrup
- Add 100ml chilled soda water
- Stir and garnish with a lemon thyme sprig and a lemon twist
- Enjoy!
