I was lucky to be chosen to review the Veet Easy Gel Leg Wax Strips. These were so easy to seperate and use while I had my morning coffee at home. I experienced a minimum of discomfort/stinging only. Even though I had grown a winters growth of hair that desperately needed removing, these strips gave a smooth finish to my legs. I gladly give this product a 5 Star rating and will be throwing out the shaver to buy this fabulous product again. I’ll even venture out into un-navigated territory and try these on my bikini line and underarms. Well done Veet on this product.
I have very hairy feet and toes which shaving does not produce great results for therefore usually use a epilator. However with the trial of veet gel wax strips I have found a much easier and less painful way. The strips pull apart easily and are quickly applied. Removal of the strips is fast however a little wax remains on the skin. This wax however is easily removed with the included perfect finish wipes. My results are quick and easy without the pain.
Thank you for the opportunity to try the Veet Easy-Gel Legs Wax Strips! The packaging had very clear and easy to follow instructions. They had a pleasant smell and the strips were a good size. I found that they worked well, they were a bit painful but that is to be expected when you are ripping the hair out of your legs! They said that you could use them a few times each but I found after the first use they were a lot less effective. They left a lot of residue but the wipes made short work of it. I will use these again as the few flaws that I found with this product I am putting down to user error!
Thanks for the opportunity to trial these wax strips. I loved them. Quick, easy and they work really well. I am sure a follow up in the next week will remove any smaller hairs left behind and the new growth will be lighter than before which is one of the things I love about waxing. Two more wipes in the pack would be great as the strips worked more than once on my legs so went further than expected. Thumbs up from me and will happily purchase in the future.
Thanks Her World and Veet for the opportunity to review Easy-gel Legs Wax Strips. It has been the longest time since I have attempted waxing, so I was keen to give these a go and see if they could offer me some relief from shaving daily.
The strips come in a box of 20 with 2 Perfect Finish wipes – the lovely sweet smelling acai berries scent hit me as soon as I opened the box! All the instructions are on the back of the box, and are quite simple to follow – even for first timers. I like the idea of the gel wax – the strips pulled smoothly and evenly apart with ease, and aren’t dependent on being a certain temperature to get started. The first time I tried the strips, my hairs were fairly short, though the box claims 1.5mm is long enough to grip, but I felt it didn’t really effectively remove any hairs, and left quite a lot of wax residue on my skin too. The wipes were good at removing and cleaning this up. I waited a few more days for some longer growth to try again – more hairs were removed, but I didn’t exactly feel left with smooth or hair-free skin. I’m not gonna lie, I did find it fairly painful and time consuming – though like everything, my technique could probably improve with practice! I did get a bit of a reaction on my skin, it came up in red bumps but cleared within about a day (still nowhere near as bad as I have experienced in the past with professional waxing though). I’m going to persevere and give this one more try before returning to shaving, as I’d really like these to work for me, even though I seem to have a pretty low pain threshold for waxing! I also feel like there need to be a couple more Perfect Finish wipes included in the pack, though I note on the fine print on the box that baby oil may be used instead.
Thanks for the opportunity to review the Veet Easy-Gel Legs Wax Strips – I’ve never waxed my legs before I normally just shave. So I think these are a great idea and like the small box/packet they came in – nice colours etc too. The strips are a pretty good size (although thought they may have been a little bigger for legs). Great that you don’t have to warm in your hands before applying too! They are easy to use but I really was not that impressed by them to be honest. They didn’t remove the hairs as well as I expected them too – I waxed both of my legs, mostly at the front and went through 5 packs (so 10 strips) and the hairs still were not gone. They left my legs looking “pimply” which is probably to be expected. It was a little painful, but again first time I’ve done it so didn’t know what to expect there. One of the strips also didn’t separate properly so wasted 2 x sheets of wax as most of one sheet stuck to the other and couldn’t use it. Unfortunately I don;t think I would purchase this product again as it really didn’t work that well. 🙂
Thanks for the opportunity to try these. Normally i shave my legs and had just shaved the day the pack arrived so I had to wait a few days before using the strips. Unfortunately they aren’t for me. I thought they would have been bigger since they were for the legs and I am not sure if it was my technique but I tried over a couple of days and found it was taking me quite some time to do just part of my leg! I also found I had to apply the strips a couple of times to completely remove the hairs to get a smooth feeling result. I do believe the part of my leg I waxed has stayed smoother compared to the rest of my leg that I shaved, but overall I didn’t think it was worth the time or the pain I incurred. I also think they definitely need to give more of the wipes to remove the excess wax at the end.

I’ve tried other waxing strips before and had varying degrees of success but these Veet Easy Gel strips are an absolute treat. Easy to use, I love that these don’t leave a sticky residue on the skin and that the experience was 100% pain-free. I am also really impressed with how much hair they actually remove and found that each strip managed to leave my legs hair-free. Since using them, my legs have also been feeling silky smooth so I’ll definitely be buying these again and taking them away with me over the Summer.

I tried the Veet strips, I found the the first use of a new strip worked ok but the second use of the same strip didnt have any stick left. This meant that I didnt have enough for both legs.This might have been because my legs were very dry, if I tried again I would moisturize the evening before.
I like how easy it was to use these wax strips. I used to use wax from the pots which needed to be microwave but that got really messy so resorted to shaving. It has been at least a year since I last wax so after applying and smoothing down the wax strip on my leg I was feeling abit scared. When I ripped off the strip it wasn’t painful at all and it removed quite abit of hair too! Would definitely recommend these wax strips to my friends and family for a quick and painless way to remove leg hair. The scent is also a bonus! Smells divine.
I was so looking forward to trying to wax for the first time. The box arrived with a very vibrant enticing looking packaging to make you want to wax. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I hadn’t shaved my legs for a couple of weeks so it was going to be a great test. I was a bit anxious as I was expecting a lot of pain. I put the wax strip on my leg and then went to pull it off, but what came next was shear disappointment. No hair was removed and instead all of the wax from the strip was left on my leg, man that stuff is very difficult to get off thank goodness they give you cleaning wipes but not enough of them as it took one to remove the whole lot. I thought I am not going to be beaten by this so tried again and still the same thing happened so there went yet another wipe! Really need more of those wipes. I left it for another couple of days and tried again thank goodness this time not as much wax was left on my leg but still no hairs were removed. I was very disappointed. I am going to be stuck saving, so wanted this to work but too be honest I don’t know how the wax pulls out the hairs.
The Veet Easy-Gel wax strips come in a handy sized box which doesn’t take up too much room in the bathroom cabinet. It includes 20 wax strips and 2 finish wipes which is enough for 2 x 1/2 leg waxes. As I’ve been having my legs waxed for quite a number of years, I think I will actually get more than the recommended 2 waxes as my hair is quite fine and sparse.
The box has very easy to read instructions on the back and also diagrams to show you exactly what to do.
I remember using these types of strips quite a while ago, and back then you needed to rub them between your hands to warm them up. The instructions say that you no longer need to do this and you can just pull them apart straight away.
They are very easy to use, especially if you’ve never waxed before. The results of my first strip were ok, but then they improved as I went along. As I will probably get more than 2 waxes out of this box, I won’t have enough of the finish wipes, but I do have some baby oil that I will use once I’ve used up the wipes.
The results are great and I love the subtle scent of the shea butter and acai berries.
These are perfect to have in the bathroom cabinet if you are a regular home waxer, or even as a backup if you usually get your legs waxed at a salon and can’t get a waxing appointment when you need it.
I totally agree with the claim on the box about Veet being the number 1 wax in ANZ as they are by far the best home wax strips that I’ve tried. It is a much cheaper option and more convenient to use these strips than to go to a salon. I would definitely recommend these to my friends and family.
I really put these wax strips to the test on my legs which hadn’t been shaved since some time between the two lock downs. I was heading to the beach for the weekend so pretty stoked that they arrived in time to use as I would have otherwise had to end up shaving again. I found the strips super easy to use and each one was able to be used several times. They gave as good a result as the one time I have had my legs professionally waxed. There was the odd hair missed that had to be plucked out and some fine ones which I am happy to leave. I found this was the case with the professional wax I had too. My skin is quite sensitive and I had red dots afterwards but this settled down the next day which is consistent with when I used to use an epilator. One concern I have with these is the amount of plastic rubbish involved. I would love to see them use something biodegradable for the strip if it were possible.
I was lucky to be selected to trial Veet Easy-Gel Wax strips. They were easy to apply, convenient, no mess and had a pleasant aroma. Much better than shaving or using hot wax. Well done.
Love these wax strips!. As a long time waxer and with sensitive skin, I found these the perfect solution! I haven’t found wax strips to be that effective in the past..left with sticky hairy tufts! I was sceptical when I first applied the strip. Peeling back the two sheets to reveal the thick and creamy wax, really thought they just wouldn’t stick to my leg strongly enough to be able to remove the hair. I was wrong. A quick press down my leg and pulling back against the hairs, a perfect result! The great thing was also being able to use the same strip several times. The hairs were gone in no time and no irritation afterwards. The after wax Finish wipes took any residual wax away. I will definitely purchase again and also use them on a couple of friends’ legs, just to show them that you can get smooth legs without the pain and mess of usual waxing. thanks so much for the opportunity to trial these. Would highly recommend! Hoping in the future, Veet might make them for facial hair removal as well.
I was lucky enough to be chosen to review the Veet Easy-Gel™ Legs Wax Strips. First of all the packaging is great. Bright and colourful with easy to read instructions. The strips are so easy to use! I have never used wax strips before, I just stick to lady-shaves. I was a bit scared to try them because I have heard that waxing is painful but my fears were groundless as it did not even hurt. The scent of the wax was lovely & fruity and my legs felt soft and smooth after using the strips. The wipes included in the pack remove any wax residue. I would definitely recommend Veet Easy-Gel™ Legs Wax Strips and I know I will be adding them to my shopping list!
I absolutely love these strips. I’ve been waxing for years. I love how you can get a good 5 waxes off one strip. So much easier than cutting up sheets, heating wax, too hot then burn…. definitely on the shopping list.
Firstly the product I was super excited to try it out as I’ve had very sensitive legs lately with shaving everyday. The packaging was great I found it easy to find instructions on the box and they were super simple instructions too. I liked how you don’t have to warm up the wax strips in your hands first before putting them on your skin that is definitely less time consuming for this busy nursing study mum whole is super busy all the time and needs something convenient and not time consuming. So firstly I toke the strips apart then I applied to my skin then I pulled a little too slow the first time. I’ll admit it lol first timer and all lol so I had wax left all over my leg. So then we went on to try again and did it fast this time and it worked it toke majority of the wax with it and had my leg feeling smooth. I highly recommend and if it makes my legs stop itching it’s going to be a new win in this household. Going to continue to use and hopefully all going well this will be my no product and shaver’s will be in the bin. Thanks again kidspot for letting me review this product. Thank you for sending this great wax! I find its easy to work with and does remove most of my unwanted hair. I like these strips because there is no need to heat up the wax in the microwave or get all messy with traditional wax. I found it so easy and fast to use them during my LO nap! Loved the nice smell of these strips but I would appreciate if they can add some more wipes.. 2 is not enough… Thank you again for getting me ready to summer!
PRODUCT REVIEW- I was lucky enough to be given the chance to trial and review this product, I have never used at home leg wax strips before so was excited to give it a go, instructions were easy to understand and strips had a nice fragrance, so easy to use and liked that the same strip can be used until it loses its stick.
My legs felt so smooth afterwards with no rash or redness in sight, overall such a great product.
I recommend Veet Legs Wax Strips, being a busy mum with kids I definitely have neglected my legs for a while as having a long shower and shaving is non exsistant, I found this so much more effective than shaving and didn’t take as long as I thought it was to get smooth legs so so much more effective than shaving
This wasn’t my first time using wax strips but it has been A LONG TIME since last using them. I didn’t shave my legs for over a week to ensure there was plenty of hair growth. My leg hairs aren’t too dark but I was feeling rather prickly by the end of the week so was looking forward to trying these out.
My first impression was that the instructions were very straight forward and simple. I really like how you do not need to heat the strips (either by rubbing between hands or other) as this was my experience previously. It is also great that you can use a single strip more than once.
Applying the strips was easy. They smell really nice! I found removing the strip a little painful and the wax certainly did not get all the hairs. However after a few more goes I got the hang of it and removing the strips became easier. The overall end result was ok- I still have some random hairs and my skin has reacted a bit and has become quite bumpy. I know this will calm down in a few hours though as this always happens when I wax! The time it took to wax both legs was quite time consuming and for me, shaving is defo easier! However I cant wait to see how long the results last. I would be converted if my legs stay smooth for a lot longer- time will tell!
It would be good to have more of the aftercare wipes as two wont go far. I used about half a pack of the wax strips so have another session left for next time which is cool. Overall I found this product to be exactly what it suggests. I don’t think I would rave about it but would certainly be my preferred option over brands. Wow!! The Veet leg wax strip was amazing. First of all it was very easy to use. No need to go to a clinic for your leg waxing. I was able to do it at the comfort of my home. It was a quick application just put the strip on your legs and pull. It is cheaper than having a wax service great for your budget. I have a sensitive skin and I didn’t have any allergic reaction. I am satisfied with the product and will definitely buy and use it again especially summer is coming. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.
Ladies, put down your razors!!! This Veet easy gel legs wax strip is the best – so easy to use. I had all sorts of reservations about waxing, thinking it would involve microwaves and hot wax etc but not so with Veet
Super easy to use – just pull the strip back and rub on your leg, then pull strip off as quick as possible for very smooth legs. (See pic for detail). Great thing is that the strip works for more than one ‘wax’ – I only needed one strip (which splits in two) to do both legs. And it’s fairly pain free – just a slight sting.
The scent is really lovely too – Shea butter and açai berries
The one thing I’d suggest as an improvement is for the packet of 20 strips to have more than 2 perfect wipes – but other than that, this product is pretty perfect!
My first time experience with waxing was nervous and excited with Veet Easy-Gel™ Legs Wax Strips but everything just gone by so smoothly! The instructions are very easy and clear to follow on the lovely and attractive box, the best I love is it can be used on dry skin, so convenient that I won’t need to use it during my shower, especially with water restriction in Auckland now. 🙂
It only caused me a wee pain for the first pull, but the rest were just easy peasy lemon squeezy! The result was wonderful that my legs stay very smooth and hairless for the next week with the amazing smell (I have been given the Shea Butter and Acai Berries scent), or else I normally will need to shave everyday to keep my legs feel smooth!
Last but not least, even though I haven’t used other similar product before, due to all the scary stories around, but now I’m sure to be confident to introduce this product to my friends and family.
I’m a virgin waxer and was extremely nervous. I dont like pain. I received the legwas strips. The instructions were extremely simple, all step by step. I placed the 1st strip on my hairy legs, prayed, and pulled the strip off. OMG, no pain whatsoever, and a hair free patch on my leg. I finished off both legs and wiped down with the supplied towelettes. I can definately recommend this product to all non wax hesitant users.

So I’m a first time waxer and was nervously excited when picked to trial these. Upon arrival I noticed how well packaged the product was, it stood out and had clear instructions on how to use product and what was in the strips.
I immediately got into waxing and not going to lie was I feeling scared ( I’ve seen those videos of people screaming from the pain ) took me a moment to figure out what way my hair green on legs and then a few deep breaths before I pulled quickly upwards….it stung a wee bit to begin with, I’d say this is more so because I’ve never experienced waxing before rather than the product itself. After a few times I had it sussed and was painless and so quick. What I really was impressed with was how many times I could use a single strip before changing, in total I used 3 singles (they come in pairs joined together where you gently pull apart to apply) I had hair growth if approx 5-6weeks so the hair wasn’t exactly short. It was clean and so so easy to use. They strips come with a baby wipe type cloth to clean up any left over wax but didn’t need to use a whole lot. Both the towelette and the wax smelt amazing and natural feeling so knew my skin was in safe hands and wouldn’t react as no nasties in it …yay.
The result is amazing!!! My legs have never looked and felt so smooth and shiny EVER! I’m traditionally a shaver and it’s been a real pain and such a chore to have to shave every 2-3days, with Veets Easy Gel Wax Strips this is now history wohoooo. I’m looking forward to being brave enough to do armpits as well now I’ve discovered how convenient,easy, user friendly this product is. I will definitely be using again
I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial these and I was excited to see how my legs would look after. The strips were very easy to seperate and apply to my leg. Not much sting when pulled off and quite satisfying to see the hair come out on the strip. In some areas it missed the hairs and I didn’t want to risk going over the same spot too many times. The wipe was great for wiping off excess wax and left my leg feeling clean and smooth. Even though some areas still had some hairs left behind, I would use them again and recommend buying them. As a bonus I also used them on my bikini line and they were great there as well. As the strips are quite large I cut them in half before applying and they fit perfectly. Two for the price of one, who doesn’t live that!!
I loved the design on the box which I received with very clear instructions. This was my first time I’ve ever used a product like ‘Veet’ as I have normally visited a salon. The strips were wider than I expected, but excellent for applying.
After following the instructions carefully, I pulled off my first strip – wow that hurt. I used the strip a few times, but reckon next time I will have shorter hairs as I had grown them quite long for a few weeks’ just in case I was chosen for this trial.
The strips weren’t too good around the knee area, but I did eventually get used to the sting which naturally came when the strips were pulling the whole hair out. I did have blotchy legs for a little while and used the perfect finish wipe which took off any wax residue.
These ‘Veet’ strips would be ideal to use just before heading off on holidays so you don’t have to take a razer and should last a few weeks’. Definitely will recommend these to my friends and let my 19yr old daughter give it a go. I will use these again myself as they are so handy to use when I want and not have to travel to a salon. These wax strips smell great! I’m not a fan of storing smelling waxes and this is not one of them. The strips are easy to warm (I just sat on them) and they pulled apart easily. They went on fine and were surprisingly not that painful to rip off. The after wax wiped helped remove the remaining wax residue and also helped with the redness on my legs. My hair was not overly long to begin with, so was surprised the wax removed it all too. Am impressed and will consider these as an alternative to shaving. Am going to attempt my bikini line with them next.
As a busy Mum, I often neglect myself, and nowhere is this more evident than my legs. I shave only when I have time, and then often in a rush leaving cuts and rashes. I have always been too scared to try home waxing, but these strips from Veet make me feel like I could give this a go. I would love to try them out and give myself longer lasting smoothness- and so more time to get back to my busy mum-life.
I am not very hairy on my legs but I do have some strays hairs that I want to eradicate. I over any and all ingrown hair, as well as cutting myself with a sharp razor. I’m usually a razor girl, but have let the situation get outta control what with winter and covid lock down… Always wanted to give waxing a go, but have never been confident that it can go well. I use a yuk old razor which I’m really over, I ALWAYS but myself which sucks because I shave usually before I want to put on fake tan and you can’t once you have cut yourself! These sound awesome!! 🙂

Yes please, I would love to trial Veet Easy-Gel strips on my prickly winter legs! My hair grows so fast that I need to shave daily to be stuble free, and it is SUCH a chore. These sound ideal for waxing amateurs like me, love they work on very short hairs too.

I’m eyeing up my dresses now that the weather is getting warmer and need to bring these hairy legs up to scratch that have been hiding under my work uniform trousers for the winter. These would have to be hidden from my 19 year old daughter as she has to shave everyday as she’s a poor student and she would instantly eye this Veet product up.

I would love to try these as I get sensitive itchy skin with shaving and my hair’s grow back super fast so shaving each day is nessessary. I would love to try something like this that gets short hairs and gets them all and slow growing back so it may reduce my itchiness of my legs and other body parts. Would be fully grateful if I got the chance to trial this product.
Hi yes I would love to try Veet strips. The product sounds amazing and just in time for summer. I’m a busy mom and things always has to be done quick especially for myself. The Veet strips can help me remove unwanted hair on legs fast and be confident with my daily work.
I’m currently sporting several months hair growth on my legs and am reluctant to go back to shaving them. I would love to to try these so I can start wearing skirts and shorts in the warmer weather.

I would to try these as I’ve never waxed before and always wondered what the rave was about. I haven’t known what wax to get also has prevented me from trying in the past. Would be neat to give these a go and see how they perform and hopefully make it a regular purchase when need to wax again especially being a busy mum with kids, work and life not having to shave every few days would be a dream
Would love to try these!!!! I used to wax, using the microwave wax and it was always so messy! I’m back to shaving and it’s a chore! Would love something mess free and quick – as my bathroom time is limited with 2 boys who seem to need everything when I’m in the bathroom!
