Northern Bass festival is going to be a banger!

The second lineup announcement for Northern Bass 18/19 is here.

Heading up this announcement is New York emcee and All Amerikkkan Joey Bada$$, drum & bass and electronic ‘Rock Band’ Pendulum Live and local dnb heroes The Upbeats fresh off a run of sold-out NZ shows.

Also making their way to Mangawhai this year are:  drum & bass stalwart Calibre  – making his long awaited return to New Zealand, joined by his frequent collaborator, Manchester MC DRS, Butterz Grime stars Elijah and Skilliam, North London bass duo Ivy Lab, Soulection co-founder Joe Kay, Bristol based electronic producer and DJ Om Unit, Critical Musics’ Sam Binga and Rider Shafique, Jungles’ remixer of choice Serial Killaz, NZ drum n bass duo State of Mind, and Deep Dark n Dangerous star Khiva.

On the local front, soulstress Bailey Wiley joins the lineup along with BassFMer and DJ about town Dylan C, beatmaker and DJ of the moment ILL BAZ, Dancehall enthusiast ISSA, newcomers the Katayanagi Twins, Auckland Based rapper MC J Dubs, Wellington’s Galactic Outlaw Zuke and the Liquid Lowdowntakeover at Northern Bass featuring Chicorelli, Reubix, Macca and Quizzer.

So, what is Northern Bass?

Northern Bass is a three day/night New Year celebration that brings the best musicians, DJs and producers from the around the world to Mangawahi for an epic New Years party.

Camping onsite is the best way to experience the fest but you can also crash at one of the many bach and campsites in the the Mangawhai/Kaiwaka area. If you are camping onsite, you will need to purchase a Camping pass.  If you are not staying onsite you can get to and from Northern Bass using our dedicated bus service running from Auckland, Mangawhai, Mangawhai heads, Matakana, Waipu, Ruakaka, Warkworth, Wellsford, Uretiti and Langs beach.

Everything you need for your three day stay is catered for at the festival. From multiple bars and a selection of awesome food outlets to the camp store, hot showers and the new powder room.
